Discover the Niu de l'Àliga refuge at La Molina by bike!

If you’re the adventurous type, this excursion is for you. You’ll be able to come with your bike or rent one there and, with your Bike Park ticket, enjoy a renowned downhill circuit. By going halfway up to Niu de l'Àliga by cable car and coming back down on your bike you can experience moments of adrenaline in a unique natural environment.

It is recommended that your bike has dual suspension and riders should have minimum experience, due to its downhill nature. You must present a signed liability form at the ticket office where you will be given the bike pass.

The Niu de l'Àliga mountain shelter in La Molina lies at an altitude of 2,537 metres, at the top of Tosa d'Alp. By taking the Cadí-Moixeró cable car, you can reach the highest point of the resort in which the Niu de l'Àliga mountain shelter is situated and take in the magnificent panoramic views of the regions of La Cerdanya, El Berguedà and El Ripollès.

You can also enjoy the following activities (with supplement):

  • Adventure park in the trees.Opening hours: from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a zip line, Burma bridges, hanging bridges and a Tarzan swing, among other activities. The park offers several circuits of different levels aimed at different types of visitors: Green kids’ course (2 laps) (3 to 8 years olds), Cargo net climbing course (30 min) (4 to 12 years olds), Blue course (7 years old and over, min. height 1.2 m), Blue + red courses (10 years old and over, min. height 1.4 m), Blue + red + black courses (10 years old and over, min. height 1.4 m). Includes the SuperTirolina zip-line (300 m).
  • Segway excursion through La Molina. Times: 9 a.m., 10.30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1.30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
    Includes: Segway, helmet, high visibility vest, accident insurance and guide. The excursion is completed on a Segway, which means users can explore the natural environment of La Molina in a more fun and entertaining way.
  • Panoramic route through Tosa d'Alp l’Alp.Times: 11am. Includes: accident insurance and mountain guide.
    By taking the Cadí-Moixeró cable car you can reach the highest point in the resort, the Niu de l’Àliga mountain shelter.
  • Four-hour panoramic route. Times: 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Circular route starting and finishing at the upper station of the Cadi-Moixeró cable car at La Molina. The panoramic route will allow you to explore the Cadí-Moixeró natural park. The route is of moderate physical difficulty but tough due to the terrain.

  • Round-trip by coach
  • Access to the Bike Park and a Niu de l'Àliga cable car pass. Bicycles can only go up to the middle section, from where it is a downhill descent. You can go up and down as many times as you wish.
  • You will be met on arrival at La Molina by a professional mountain guide who will explain all the possible activities.

  • A minimum number of 30 people is required. If minimum numbers are not met, the agency reserves the right to cancel the trip and reimburse the purchaser for all those amounts paid, without clients being entitled to demand compensation.
  • All persons booked on each trip must carry with them an official I.D document or passport in order to ensure the validity of the insurance policy.
  • Children between 4 and 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. In circumstances in which this adult is not their father/mother/guardian, it is mandatory that they bring a consent form signed by the parents or the legal guardian (two copies), along with a photocopy of the ID of the father/mother/legal guardian.
  • Young people between 16 and 17 years of age traveling alone must carry an authorization signed by parents or guardians (two copies), along with a photocopy of the ID of the father/mother/legal guardian.

  • It is possible to ask to unmount the front wheel of the bicycle in order to transport it to the bus.
